We’re a visual company. Duh, right? We thought we had to emphasize that because of what we’ve been seeing lately. A person applies for one of our jobs and we then check out their profile and guess what…it is almost completely blank. What are you telling us? It’s definitely not something good.
You would not stand out by taking that approach. And it is highly unlikely you’ll get an offer.
Here is the other reason why it is crucially important to have a completed profile. It’s convenient for us. For each role, we have to go through close to 50 candidates. Sometimes more. That simply means it would be an arduous task to have to download 50 or more PDF resumes, open them, and then go to the multitude of websites to watch your reels. And then email you if we’re interested.
The convenient for us option: we open your urhiredjobs.com profile (your resume and reel are already there) and then message you using the message box on your profile if we’re interested. It’s incredibly simple and easy for us.
