Derek Davison

For my internship with season 3 of Awkwafina is Nora from Queens at Kaufman Astoria studios, I worked alongside the Office PAs where I assisted with errands and organization.

With a major in Film and Television and a minor in Dramatic Writing, I learned both the creative side of the film industry as well as the business side. All of my professors had experience working on professional sets, and they shared their experience with me. I have also had the privilege of gaining experience on student sets.

I participated in a 2-day Production Assistant training workshop taught by D.G.A. Assistant Director Witt Lacy. He informed us what the life of a PA looks like, as well as what is expected of us.
